The Keating 5 scandal is not a guilt by association issue. McCain was directly involved in it. That is the difference; It's a lot easier to link McCain to Keating than Obama to Ayers. This is the truth.
The Republican can say all they want about Ayers' past (Hannity even brought up 9/11), but you can't pin that on Obama.
