With one week left, who are you voting for? Has it changed from last week? If so why did you change?

Will there be an October surprise, and if there is one is it too late to affect the outcome?

Will there be yet another contested election like 2000/2004?

Who is going to win?

With a second plot against Obama, and McCain's age/health do you believe the VP will end up taking over due to something happening?

In 2012 will the incumbent win?

Will congress be D or R majority?

Already voted Obama

McCain will sling everything - he's already started. Not sure if that's 'the' surprise though.

I don't think it's going to be contested like 00/04

Obama (I hope)

I do not think a VP will have to over

Can't answer 2012 right now.

D's will hold their majority in House/Senate.

Agreed about slinging, I noticed the buzz over at FOX news seems to have intensified as they grasp at straws and try to redirect like nothing before. Be prepared for more racial remarks and more ridiculous claims as the election draws closer.

The real question is not whether the Dems will hold the majority, it's a matter of getting to the magic 60.

I cannot vote. I would support Obama. There will be no October surprise. If there was, it absolutely could change voters, although obviously not those who have already cast.

BTW, this won't be contested, it will not nearly be close enough.

They are pretty close to the magic 60... projections indicate a 57 / 41 split currently on fivethirtyeight.com

Good poll. I already voted Obama so my vote cannot change. Even if I had not already voted I doubt that anything would have changed my vote anyways. There will not be any kind of Oct surprise from McCain that presents new info to make me believe otherwise.

Looks like not much has changed in P&N over the past week in their views on the election, other than Obama has a much more solid footing now in P&N it seems.

Obama/Biden will win. democrats will retain control of the house and senate and increase their margins.

Obama will not win reelection.
