The world is about to end. There is something you can do to stop it - however, if you do it, you will die, but all five billion, nine hundred and ninety nine million, nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine people will live. Do you do it? Or do you die with them?
My answer follows:
Though I'm an incurable cynic and loathe humanity with every fiber of my being, I feel that there is, somewhere on earth, one person who is not fundamentally flawed. One person that deserves to exist. If it were not for that one person, I would gladly allow the forces that be to annhilate humanity. However, I feel that it is my duty as a lesser human to defend that one special person to the death, even if it means that all the other loathesome individuals will live on as well.
