It's the end of the (billing) month, and I've got bandwidth to burn.

You might want to remove that link or risk a timeout. It is proprietary and whatnot.

Just saying.....

Ya, it's a good episode. Wal-mart bashing reminds me of the recycling propoganda we were fed in grade school. You don't realize how powerful a message is that is constantly drummed into your head. I mean everybody bashes Walmart and for really no good reason (don't say you prefer Target, thats not bashing).

I see both sides of the arguement, but I worked for them, right along side illegal aliens. They did make one guy clean up a mess he made off the clock. I do shop there if all I need is razor refills and such, but generally I avoid it. I don't preach against them, I just make a personal choice.

I agree, I can see both sides of it as well. Penn makes one of the most well-rounded and intelligent arguments pro Wal-Mart I've ever heard though (even with all the F bombs! ). This season has been good so far and there is way more boobies than usual.

Everyone not pirating this show, make sure you stay up for This American Life after BS! It's a great show!

Yeah, Tivo'd this episode the other day. It didn't seem quite as strong as some of their other arguments, but it was pretty solid. I love the making fun of those two jobless pricks who were printing up anti-Walmart tshirts and whatnot. What a pair of numbnuts.

Also, yes - some very nice boobage.

Ummm, unless I heard wrong I thought he said it was "THEIR" printshop??? Don't have time to go back and look, I'm still watching the boob part over and over because I can't hear what he says there ;)

What do you mean? Oh, I guess my "jobless" comment didn't make a lot of sense since they own their little printshop, but it still funny to see this unattractive, unkempt, and downright nasty couple trying to make fun of "typical" Wal-Mart customers, as if they are somehow below their cultural and socioeconomic status.

When I was in grade school (the 80's) there was a concerted effort to "teach" kids to recycle. We only heard the Sierra Club side of the argument for recycling, which has the effect of brainwashing. As far as recycling, watch the Penn & Teller BS episode if you think it is actually doing any good.
