Is it okay to buy from eaby? Safe? Scam? Experiences? I'm thinking of getting a 1997 BMW Z3 2.8V6. Any recommendations or advice?
 
I was thinking that if the carfax checked out, i couldhave it shipped to north va, or i could even fly down there and drive it back. I mean, i'm a fairly competent mechanic with experience with jobs as big as motor replacement(friend's ranger I4 was running on 1 cylinder) and accessories. My friend even has connections with a shop across town i could do the work at. I'm jsut wondering about Ebay's policy against lemons and generally, how honest the sellers are. I dont want to buy a car only to find out there are mechanical problems that werent disclosed.
