It's that time of year again

While my wife and I are pretty close in age she's 8 weeks older than I am and we're now in that window where she's had her birthday and I haven't yet. I'm pretty sure its her favorite time of year.

Me: "I just found out Anne is the same age as me"
Wife: "Us - same age as us"
Me: "Haha - no you're older. Same age as me"

Most of the time I'm 8 years older than my wife, for ~3 months only 7.

For 11 days every year, my wife and I are the same age…then I turn into an old fart again.

Husband is 6 months older than I am. For the 6 months following his birthday he is an old man. For the other 6 months we don't discuss it at all.

For 3 months my wife and I are the same age. I have to remind her how old we are during this time.
