It's that time again...

thx
reminded me to actually do it before the end of the year
got all 3, but no credit reports
TransUnion is annoying b/c you have to create a login account to get the info, unless I totally missed the fine print opt out link, but I looked
That and their adds for more services is annoying. At least you have to opt-in to get on their mailing list.

Everything was OK for me

Which of the three is recommended to go through?

All spread out over a year.

Btw the year starts from Jan 1st so I have to pull out the other two by the end of the year or is it from the month it became available (Sept for East coast)

Thanks, nothing unusual. Credit score is 771. WOOT!

Edit:

Here are some factors that can raise your score, hope this helps someone.

# You've paid your bills on time and currently do not have any overdue accounts or derogatory information, such as a collection, charge-off, or bankruptcy, on your report. You can be proud of the fact that you are helping yourself maintain a good credit score, so continue with the positive credit behavior! (P-A)

# You have a good cushion of available credit between your current balance and your credit limits on all open trades. This has a positive affect on your credit score. This cushion shows lenders that you are unlikely to overextend yourself financially. If you keep paying your bills on time and keep your credit balances low, you will likely continue to enjoy a positive credit score. (P-I)

# The total balance on all your credit cards is relatively low compared to your total available credit limit. This has a positive impact on your credit score. If you continue to keep a comfortable cushion between your outstanding balance and your credit limit, you will show lenders that you are not likely to become overextended. (P-J)

# Your average credit limit for your major credit cards, such as VISA or MasterCard, is high. This tells lenders that you have enough financial experience, and they will be more likely to see you as a good credit risk. Keep paying all your bills on time and minimizing your outstanding balances and you should have no trouble obtaining the same high credit limits on future credit accounts. (P-F)

Only $10/month and watches my credit history for me. They also give me reports from equifax, transunion, and experian every month.

Great I'm gonna use this. I have been using the Amex credit monitoring for 7.99/month and they just monitor it. No full report/score. But they do tell me if there is a any change in the report from all three agencies.

One question though, is the score an actual FICO score or those bloated ones that you buy from individual credit agency. I usually see a difference of 50 when I compare my FICO score and the score from any credit agency site (Equi/Exp/Tran).

"Your Credit Scores are based on the information contained in your credit files at Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Mortgage lenders often review your credit scores from each credit agency and use the middle score for mortgage decisions. For other credit decisions such as credit cards and auto loans, lenders often use your score from only one agency and you usually cannot choose which score will be used.
