Winter time is when we say, where is global warming when we need it?

But we sure pay for global warming in the summer.

Then we can say 50 million birds can't be all wrong at the same time. They may be bird brains but are smarter than dumb humans, because they fly North during the Summer and South come winter. We dumb humans stay in place and bitch about weather extremes.

Meh, I've got air conditioning and I don't work on Thursdays so it didn't affect me. Still better than what we'll be getting here in a few months time. It may be unbearable outside but at least I don't have to shovel anything.

I take pains not to complain about both heat AND cold. I prefer cold weather to hot weather. I might complain about the heat but when it gets cold I just put on another layer and shut up.

San Diego, nice and cool.

I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt with no A/C and just some windows open. Thermostat says 74F inside and 66F degrees outside.

Yeah it's crazy. I'm outside of Detroit and the temp hit close to 100° F today with the heat index another 10 higher or so.

To think shit like that is normal all summer in the south makes me glad I live up north.

It was hot as fuck but not as bad as I thought. Like earlier this week when it was high 80s or 90 it really wasn't that bad even getting in my car.

I'm surprised the power grid is holding out. I hear how bad the US power grid is but it's not like you lose power often. Still though I thought of it as just barely adequate and such crazy temperatures would have blackouts or brownouts throughout the eastern US but haven't heard of that at all.

I used to live at the top of the bay, and the water source was the Susquehanna. Not the best tasting water at any time, but in the summer it got warm. The bay would also backup into the river so it also tasted salty, and like it was filtered through a dead carp. Easily the worst water I've ever had :^S

It's currently 79.2 °F with 92% humidity - at 12:15 AM. Tomorrow's high is 97 °F. With the humidity the heat index will be well over 100°F.

Honestly I can't imagine living anywhere else, it's an issue when the thought of going outside is absolutely miserable.

Even when it gets into the 80s here I start hating it.

I love the heat, to me, Summertime is awesome time. I think we had a high of 104 or so today, couple of weeks ago we had 110 on a Saturday afternoon.

Just came in from the patio where it's still almost 90, just relaxing with the wife and drinking a couple of cold beers. Maybe about mid-September when we still get an occasional high 90's day will I grow weary of it and ready for Fall, but for now, bring it on.

Disclaimer: A bit of rain to keep the trees, shrubs and lawn alive would still be OK.

To me +20C is perfect, once it starts getting above +25C it's way too hot. I like to go outside and not instantly sweat.

I got to witness +39C the other day when I was out of town. OMFG. I seriously don't know how people stand this constantly. It's not exactly the heat per say that's so bad, it's the constant sweating and stickiness that is so brutal.

I'll take our -40 winters any day instead of constant +30's. Hot days arn't bad here and there, but I would hate to have them all the time.
