It's so hard to balance time with friends and time with girlfriend.

Went to Halloween party without girlfriend & now I'm getting the standard punishment (silent treatment)

DAMN, this sucks.
Had a great time last night but now I'm paying for it ... guess I'll be spending more time on the forums:disgust:

Anymore it seems like I have 3 types of friends:
1. Stuck up her ass & never see the guy
2. Treats her like sh!t & never does anything with her
3. Single

So of course this is your fault.

WTF? I don't think what I did was selfish.
If she would've went my dumbass friends would've piss her off - so I didn't invite her plus she's know for weeks that I'm going.

Dude, bad sign, if she hates your friends she will secretely hate you for liking your friends that she hates and she will hate them even more because you like them and she hates the fact you like the friends she hates...

If your separating your gf and guy time your relationship is doomed to fail (i.e. break-up or you'll be miserable). Take her out with the guys...make sure to curse, etc.

Remember good will hunting -- the joke/story telling in the bar...if your woman is not used to that sort of conversation then you better baptized her quick or just be done with her unless you feel like giving all that up.

Once upon a time, I was just me and my firends hanging out...then I met my future wife so I brough her out with us...now my friends all bring their respective others and we all hang out and have a great time. Those of us who aren't hooked up did find ourselfs the object of a lot of match making, but whatever, it was great and still is...

It's easy to balance. I told my last gf that I would see her 3 times a week and on which days. I told her what nights I hang out with my friends. It worked out amazingly well.

Especially now that she knows what days to hang out with her other boyfriend! 😉

Do what I did after I learned that lesson 3 relationships ago.

"Honey, I am going out to spend time with my friends. Deal with it."

Works like a charm. She knows you are not going to cave-in to her every wish, and you have some backbone.

You know, I try my hardest. I even through the rolling eyes in there to try and take out any hint of seriousness, but nevertheless.... I failed

thanks captain obvious 😉

Its not your fault. Tell her that you like her but your friends are your friends and you won't change them for her. Tell her there are other people than her you hang out with like your friends. Tell her that if she won't let you live you're own life as well a good one with her, she's not worth your time.

Going bowling or to a movie with just your friends is one thing. Going to a party with your friends and leaving your girlfriend out is another. I would feel forlorn if I was going out with a girl and she went to a party without me.

I would never go out with a guy who couldn't hang with my friends and they all liked him, vice versa. Isn't it logical that your SO would get along with your good friends too? Or something is wrong there 😛
