I was SCUBA diving this past weekend at a quarry in eastern PA. At 70' is was about 50 degrees. Let me tell you. 50 degree water is a LOT colder than 50 degree air.

It was 54 here in Boston this morning when I did my morning run. The thing is, well at least for me, the cooler it is the harder I can work out so I didn't mind.

There is no way it's 10 degrees cooler in your house than outside.

Go for it. You will not regret it.

Nothing better than getting out of the water and being 90% dry, especially if the air temp is cold as well.
Also watching everyone else freeze. :D

Most likely you'd have a wet or dry suit, so you won't be that cold. And yes, we Californians do know about 50 degrees water, becuz it's like that here all year round (central cali and up)

You need to go to that lake in WV where the cooling units for a power company are located. At least 70 degrees year-round. Hold on, I'll check for the name.

I wish it would cool off here.

We're still in the high 70's, low 80's during the day and high 50's at night. :(

I am thinking about organizing a road trip there during the winter...
