It's snowing pretty good in Tucson right now

It's been snowing pretty good for over an hour now here in Tucson (at about 2300ft i think), it only happens here 1 out of 5 years or so. I made some big snowballs out of some frost from the hood of a car. Hope it snows all night...

Cool! That is all.

One thing I was told about Global Warming was that it makes hotter places cool down more and cooler places heat up more. That sound right? Just curious.

You sure it was snow? I had people here in Phoenix calling me saying it was snowing. I was skeptical because it was only 45 degrees. Then it "snowed" at my house, and it was sleet or freezing rain. Pretty cool to see white all over the cars, but it wasn't snow. Arizonans... 🙂

Snowed for the first time in well over a decade in Mesa. While aesthetically pleasing, it caused far too many accidents.

Now I know it wasn't snowing in Mesa! It wasn't under 32 anywhere in the valley tonight.

I assure you there is snow on the ground @ Recker & McLellan.

Sorry, that's called sleet. I scraped it off my car tonight. It's impossible to snow if it's not colder than 32. It's only 37 in Mesa right now http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/...rstate/local/USAZ0136?from=search_city. So I doubt it was 32 earlier tonight.

That's what they tell you to keep the myth alive when it snows in Arizona. 😉

No, it was snow. Not a whole lot, but definitely snow.
