Maybe once or twice a year we get snow, and this year it has blown in over 4" already. I took some pics of the rare event.

That cat is cute! We have one too, Turkish Angora... name's Lev :) . Is he/she a male/female? name?

Anyhow, you people are lucky! I've never seen snow before in my life and living in Houston makes me feel closer to seeing it for the first time. Hmm... how far in West Texas are you?

The cats name is Ditto. :) She is a real lapcat too, and meows at everything. She enjoys playing with feathers and chasing things. We also have a little dog named Lacy.

Here is a pic of the dog & cat

I am over in San Angelo which is 3hrs from San Antonio and 1.5hrs from Abilene. When I was living near the Woodlands (northside of Houston) back in 1996, we had snow one day.

heh.. yep it actually started snowing up here in the TX Panhandle yesterday, up around Amarillo :Q but we actually get a fair amount of snow in the year compared to the rest of Texas.. don't know why this area isn't called "North Texas", it's the farthest north! heh

We walked out the front door to several inches of snow too.

We rarely get snow this early, probably been 20 years since we saw snow this early in the year.

heh, oh yeah I used to live in Seminole, TX, which is a little town only about 30 or so miles east of Hobbs, NM, near the square "corner" of the state... I remember how often we got snow, very few and far between! :Q

LOL! I like how the dog and cat go together. Really cute!

Our cat used to purr, scratch, meow a lot but since we moved to the new place he's been really peaceful and enjoying it a lot :) No pic tho :(

Well I live a little too far south to get snow (College Station) but be happy you do have it. All we have is cold rain with plenty of wind. :(

Wow...it looks beautiful.

The high tomorrow here in PA is 60! Unusually warm weather for the time of year! But better than bitter cold with no snow. I'd rather wait it out with warm weather until the snow decides to come.
