Its Saturday morning...

someone would have to pay me like quadruple overtime for me to haul my ass to work on a weekend.

Ah, the weekend.

Well where I am it's 10:45pm. I've just got back from a quietish night; went out for dinner and hot chocolate(can't stand coffee) with the miss. Watched the footy this arvo(Hawks v Roos) and now watching the Aussie's slaughter the beloved patriot's in the one day final in England.

Have any of you watched the movie The Limey?(sp?) I've heard it's meant to be really good and might go check it out tomorrow.

Finally I am NOT working on the weekend.

It is 9:41 am and there is not a cloud in the sky with temps around 70F.

TripleJ, I'm going there this summer to check out Uluru, Shark Bay, Surfer's Paradise, etc..... 😎

I have to march in a parade all dressed up and it's going to be hotter than hell. (marching band too. So when you're playing, you nearly want to die because of heat)

Mikal, cool. I might be going to Shark Bay later in the year also. It's a beatiful place with magnificent coral reefs. You're going for a bit of a trek. One's on the east, another in the middle, and the other on the west. Are you flying around or 4WDing?

Gonna fly into Sydney, head north, fly to Alice Springs and then Perth.... can't wait! Planning on January, February timeframe...

Gideon, later, I'm taking the wife and gf out to the beach..... 100 ft away... then dinner..... dancing..... and then....

Well done hpkeeper. Must be a load off of your back. I just finished my course last week and it feels good. I feel free! 🙂

Mikal, I live in Fremantle to be exact, within the Perth metropolitan area. If you have the time, I'd highly recommend getting down to Margaret River, 300k's south of Perth. Very nice region.

Mikal, yeah, that's the Karri trees, or Eucalyptus Diversicolor to be exact(don't ask me why I know that, I just do for some reason). They grow to about 90 meters(what's that in feet?) and you can climb one for free! They hammer steel rods into the tree and form a spiral staircase up them. It's heaps of fun. Great place also for surfing, winery's and a good relax.

Almost 300 feet..... oh yeah! I'm not gonna be able to get it all in in one trip. 🙁 I'll come back again! 😀

just waiting to get my HDTV that i was supposed to have delivered from best buy, but now i got to go get it myself. i had to rent a u-haul to because it won't fit in my honda civic:frown:

Blech...it's been raining here the entire day (and I guess all day Sunday too) but because we needed the rain I don't mind too much. Had plans to see a matinee of "The Rice and the Ridiculous" 😉 but EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER was standing in line at the Belltower 20 cinema (probably 'cause of the weather) and everything decent was sold out for the day!
Oh well...maybe it's time to log in a few hours of Throne of Bhaal!
