Kotaku is reporting that it may have fixed itself by now. Does it seem okay for the people who've experienced the problem directly?

Just turned on my PS3, said the 28th, set it by internet time (was signed in by this), and worked fine.

my ps3 was effected by this issues as well. turned it on this morning to play some games. Received some error about trophy data being able to install and system time was set to 12/31/1999. Came home few mins ago, turned my ps3 on, date was set to April 28. ran the time autoupdate and it worked.

From what i read, once the system clock ran 7pm est, the problem resolved it since the internal system clock switch over to march 1st 12:00AM GMT

I like how sony is claiming they've fixed the bug when they've done exactly nothing.

Oh I get it the PS3 really can do everything including making the Earth rotate so its the next day. Poof no more bug.
