Taking macroecon, microecon, some easy human development course in my sixth semester
The only other class that is somewhat upper level is organic chemistry and I'm going to register for one more science type course
I feel as if my college career has been on the wrong foot since day one in terms of social life and academics
started as engineering, dropped that major like it's hot
switched to something in life science, still in it but not 100% sure
business sounds interesting but i wish i would've started on this foot during freshman year

I'm taking one freshman course (also a junior), but it's because I needed a general filler.

that's not really sad as much as it is normal.

I put most of my general education / freshman / intro courses off until senior year so I could have an easy year.

Yeah.Thats what I did as well. After this upcoming semester I will have enough credits in my major to graduate so that leaves me a year and half to just take lit history etc...

It's sad ... there won't be any great jobs available by the time you graduate - unless you plan on moving to India.

It doesn't mean anything, it just means you ignored some general requirements until now. Seems perfectly norma to me. But if you're taking freshman level courses for your major then it's something you should worry about.

I always wonder when I'll be able to tell someone my schedule and be taken seriously. :disgust:

But seriously, no one notices that microeconomics is a freshmen class! You can take it any semester you want. Just keep pushing towards what you want and don't worry what everyone else thinks.

who gives a crap when you take your courses ?

I am taking Development of the US which is a 100 or 200 level course, and 80% are freshmen.
Hot female freshmen to be exact ;)
I enjoy that class very much :p

I'll be taking freshman lit and Art 101 in my last semester. It's not a big deal.

Wow, I'm taking mostly sophomore classes and I'm a freshman.

I got to skip out of all the freshman gut science/math classes thanks to AP. Getting into the fun stuff right away.

I'm torn between MechE and Elec right now . . .. . I'm thinking about trying for both.

Nothing to be ashamed of, I took some freshman courses as a junior when I changed majors...not everyone graduates in 4 years. :)

Don't worry, the majority of people don't end up with a career in the field they majored in at college.

I spread my general ed. requirements across all my years so I was never too swamped w/econ stuff. It's always fun to meet new freshmen
