for the time being, i'm sticking with seti. i asslaminated a couple of my friends' computers for the race, and now that it's over, they're going to uninstall seti. i can't convince them to keep running it. so, that drops my herd from 5 constant and 1 flaky to 2 constant and 1 flaky. i am planning on upgrading my celery 500 to an athlon 900+, but that won't be for another month or so. we'll see, but with my smaller power, i think i may want to dedicate it to seti completely. once i upgrade though, i think that celery 500 system will go to the TA_SETI miniteam of rc5! either way, it helps TA!

well, one of them is gone by today's end. there's no way around it. out of the other two, i may be able to convince one, but the other one is almost surely going to uninstall the program.



edit: HA HA HA HA HA HA! He just came into the room and saw DanC's reaction, hung his head in shame, and mumbled something. I asked him what he said, and he spoke up saying, "I'll keep running it - but just for a while!" Never underestimate the power of anger in a forum...
