Newton was white kids being shot, that is why it got as much attention as it did.

There have been hundreds of murders since, mostly by young Latino and Black males shooting each other over drugs and "respect." And nobody cares.

Just like those kidnappings in the last decade....any blonde girl would instantly get a national "Amber Alert" splashed all over the place...I remember there was hysteria for a few months about kidnappings. This gun stuff will die down just like that did.
