I watched the new Ben-Hur movie last night as well. I enjoyed it for what it was, but made sure to not compare it to the Chuck Heston version in my mind. Two different movies. Chuck's version was epic and the new one was an okay way to waste two hours.

the Ben Hur reboot commercials and trailers and it looked retarded. I'm not sure why anyone would have paid to watch that. I'd rather watch the reboot of Total Recall for a 2nd time.

I just saw a preview for "The Mummy" which really hurt my brain. The movie is nowhere near old enough to warrant a remake, not that most remakes are warranted anyway.

They did it in less time with Spiderman, and as that article says, that Mummy was a remake anyway, so WGAF?
