I'm an awesome cook. I hope you all feel like sh!t.

hahaha

it's really not that hard... look up some recipes or watch food network

Or I could just marry this girl and be done with it. cuz yea. life is all about food n stuff.

Serious question for the adults (read: over 18) who can't cook - Do you guys think you are cool? Like is it an embarassing situation or is it something to be proud of?

Yea, seriously rice isn't hard to make with a rice cooker. Add proper amount of rice and water and then viola. Mmm that's what I plan on doing when I'm living in my apartment in about 2 weeks.

rice cooker?

We have a wide assortment of pots and pans, but we don't even have a FRIGGIN' TOASTER.

If toast is involved with any meal, it's prepared on a cast iron skillet.

Buy one, they're cheap 😀.

Never say cheap to someone who's unemployed (anxiously awaiting interview day) and has a car payment, tuition payments, rent, has already bounced off the credit limits, has felt the pain of having your check card rejected for a $.99 sammich (which I paid for by fishing 4 quarters and some pennies for tax out of the "take a penny, leave a penny" change thingy at the register, and has been borrowing money from friends and the S/O to live for months (I actually hit the $0 available funds threshold BEFORE the entire IT department was terminated, because of the mounting bills, underscheduling, and general unwillingness to pay me on time and in full)

Now that I think about it, I haven't recieved my final deposit yet, either.

Ouch, that really sucks. :cookie: for you.

1 to 1 ratio yo. With today's electric rice cookers, its insanely easy.

I kinda miss the electric rice cooker I have at home as well as my roommate's. After moving out, my new roommate does not have a rice cooker and I'm stuck with my old skool rice cooker where you gotta put 1 to 1 to 1 (put water in 2 diff areas) ratio.

The Rice Cooker is the most versatile cooking weapon there is. You can steam anything, meaning you can have veggies and meat and rice.

That said, I made awesome gailan and Chinese seasame noodles yesterday.. Muhahahaha.

Edit: BTW, where are you moving to?
