between the two big pizza makers, I have to say domino's new recipe tastes much better than pizza hut. i was pretty loyal to Pizza Hut, but decided to try domino's out, got their deep dish pizza and haven't looked back.

Both are shit but new dominos definitely > pizza hut by a mile

pizza hut far too greasy; only redeeming aspect are tasty bread sticks (perfect snack while shopping at Target)

Yea but PapaJohns rules both of them.

Or even better, costco pizza $9.99 for extra large.

Isn't that like saying a dead raccoon smells better than a roadkill skunk?

That's debatable.

But seriously, Domino's can't be beat for late night drunk food that can be ordered over the internet. I think the new recipe is pretty decent. Yeah, it's totally different than the joint up the block owned by a napolitano, but he closes at 9 or 10 and isn't open at all on Sunday. I'll do lunch, a beer, and a coffee at that place with a truly delicious pizza, but Domino's will show up and be truly delicious when I really need it.

That's DrPizza Snob to you.

And, I agree, pizza hut has gone way down hill. If you can toss away the word "pizza" for a moment, as a food, it was rather edible. Not something I'd ever want more than once every few months, but quite edible. Last time I went there, I didn't even want the leftovers.

Rather have Lil' Caesars than Dominos in the cheap pizza category...

No way. I'll eat anything and not a snob about anything like everyone else on here but the new Domino's really is the best out of all the national chains now, even Papa John's. I hate Papa John's cus they always skimp on the topping on their pizza. If you order pepperoni there will be like one pepperoni on each slice or one mushroom on each slice.

I only ordered from Domino's once. Got it late, clap cold. Last time.
Toppers is currently my favourite chain pizza. Crust is really nice, tasty.

I make my own pizza a lot though. Buy all the ingredients at a proper Italian grocery. Perfect every time. I've been meaning to try grilling it.

pizza hut has relied on gimmickry for the last 15 years or so, since papa johns started getting huge. of course, papa johns has also started relying on gimmickry. the food quality has definitely gone down hill at both places.

the dominos' new stuff is fairly ok if you don't get the crust slathered with trans fat. that sh!t is gross.

i don't think i really noticed the difference when they switched the recipe. I'm sure its better, but it still blows unless youre really in the mood for that kinda pizza, which is rare for me.

I used to have a friend that worked at Lil' Caesars and if you can get one of their pizzas fresh...like FRESH fresh as in fresh made dough, freshly baked...like he would bring over to my house than Lil' C's can actually be one of the best pizzas you can have...or maybe it was the side effects of weed (those slight munchies...)...
