They have been talking about his firing on local sports talk radio 105.3 for about 20 minutes now..

Phillips's agent is currently unaware of the situation at this point in time. As far as everyone is concerned, Phillips is still employed.

As pointed out in the other Wade Phillips thread, Cowher/Gruden could prove elusive to grab. They have seen what life is like on the other side of NOT coaching. Not to mention these two guys are not ones to take orders from the owner like you have to be in Dallas. JJ is killing that organization, just like Art killed the Raiders for a decade plus.

Owners need to allow the people they hire to run the team, actually RUN the team. Sure you cna have a say, but you should not be THE say in what goes on.

He's good skillwise but mentally I don't think Romo is a winner. He seems to get shaken too easily upstairs, maybe it's maturity I don't know.

yeah, that's the problem. I think he is very accurate, pretty good decision maker on the field...but when it comes to pressure, he folds like a little bitch. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can coach anyone out of that.

He also takes a lot of risks, which can be admirable, but not everyone likes that sort of QB. and very few people can be as successful as a guy like Favre tossing up jump balls.
