For the mathematically challenged, Thursday's date, 5/7/09, is one of only six this century that will feature three consecutive odd numbers.

The previous stretch of dates started with 1/3/05.

You, sir, have too much time on your hands.

Not to worry, I clearly suffer from this problem as well given that I have replied.

Depends on your date format. It's 07/05/09 over here.

mm/dd/yy is the only thing that matters :p

The difference in the American format forces me to write the month every time I send stuff across the pond, without even getting into the issue of the meaning of a "billion". That said, whilst consensus would be more practical, I prefer a world that is full of territorial idiosyncracies.

Thanks for proving my point... mm/dd/yy is used in the USA ... and everyone knows the USA makes up 90% of the worlds intelligent population ;)

Intelligence must have changed its definition overnight, have you lot been breaking the language again? Otherwise I fear we're all doomed :(
