The routine.. I have been reminded of this from watching seinfeld (right now), and I was wondering, has anyone ACTUALLY meant it.. "It's not you, it's me?"

I was just thinking that if I were to break up with some one that I may one day *actually* use the routine but unfortunately 'cause it's been used so many times they'd assume it was them when it was really me etc.. I mean, shouldn't one be able to use a phrase and mean it literally..
