Out of the blue she starts and splaying out like Superman. I tried to calm her down but she didn't have any control of her legs. Fuck!

Packed her up and went to the animal ER. The vet basically said we can run a bunch of tests or put her down. She really hinted towards the latter. I opted for the tests and a large dose of the food stuff so she wouldn't be in pain.

Now I'm waiting. I'm sure the news won't be good but I couldn't just kill her without at least knowing what was wrong.

Sad face

Update:

Kitteh didn't make it. They ran every test they could and the only thing they could say for certain was they couldn't stop her pain. The vet and I both cried our eyes out but decided to stop her pain.

I'm a mess and lil rudeguy is too. She was the sweet lady cat who just always wanted to cuddle.

RIP Kitteh

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck.

Sometimes, all you can do is get professional help. You've already done that.

Hang in there!

Poor kitty. My wife turned me into a cat person and we have 3, can't imagine how'd I feel if one of mines was sick.

All the best for you and your kitty. My boy cost me a good bit of money last year, but he's doing well now.

sorry to hear, but if your vet could not provide a diagnosis; I'd find a new one for the next pet(s).

Sorry to hear about your kitty. Sounds sort of like a saddle thrombus. One of the hallmarks of that is the inability to ease a kitty's pain. :( So sorry you lost her. :( :( :(

Sorry for your loss. We lost one earlier this Summer to lymphoma and miss him slinking around the house getting in to everything.
