I used to teach in a private school; there were quite a few lawyer's kids there.
Their view of the world: "It's not illegal until you get caught AND daddy can't get them to drop the charges."
Two of the kids were best friends. The dog of one of them bit the other. Lawsuit. $120 thousand IIRC. Barely a scar. I asked, incredulously, "you sued his family for that?" Nonchalantly, as if it was normal behavior, "Yeah, that's what homeowner's insurance is for." It didn't even phase either side as they were suing back and forth over the years and insurance paid for it all. Still friends.
