I work at CVS, and we put up the Christmas decorations a few days prior to halloween.

Nah, I like it. Black Friday will be here soon, and stores need to prepare for it (and get shoppers excited for it). They've realized that one day brings in more revenue than any other day, so they need to promote it.

As I said in another post, I get excited for Christmas in November. Being more of a Christmas fan than 99% of the population, I like to enjoy it for longer than 3 weeks of the year. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I love christmas too, it is my favorite time of the year. I do think it is too early to start hearing christmas carols on the radio though. You need to wait until thanksgiving for that..
