It's pretty ineffective when you are also crying about him.

Looks like he was just answering pete6032's question to me, but I digress. I guess this thread has turned into yet another pissing match, and not surprising, when anyone with half a brain knows that the TSA is a feel-good joke of an administration.

As for Southwest, they are my favorite airline, never had any problems with them. I don't fly a lot, maybe 120 flights or so in my life, but most of them were with Southwest, and have only had 1 delay, which was a whopping 25 minutes.

Really depends hubs and flights. Southwest is not known to be a top performer at many hubs.

I have had to fly a lot. Personally I like a guaranteed seat and one I can upgrade to something closer to the exit.

For roominess, I feel that depends more on plane type than airlines.

Ah, that might explain it. I mainly went ABQ-TPA and back, and CMH-TPA and back. I always find nonstop flights from those airports for similar prices to those that stop (although they might be very early in the morning).

I have only gotten an exit row twice, and being 6'4", definitely feel cramped on their 737s, but don't know any better, as I have only been on planes with the same 3-2 seating configuration. I like picking my own seat, because it is pretty easy to find one close to the front of the plane, although that can turn into a dance in and of itself. Some people will claim they are saving the seat for someone else, some have a child with them and it will be a free seat bonanza around them, it really is a social experiment, but I usually end up in a good seat fore of the wings. The whole 24 hour check in before flight also makes it into a sort of lottery for the boarding group, so that can be a hassle, except that it is so easy to check in, that excuse is out the window.

I hear my grandparents talk about how flying used to be a grand event, and you would be on your best behavior and try to present yourself well, too bad that tradition has gone out the window. :(

I have two words for you: Tortas Frontera

I'll be honest I don't get the hype. I mean its good but it doesn't seem all that special to me - other than the non-itemized drink receipts :sneaky:

I fly through midway any chance I get. I hate O'Hare so much... it's an awful airport and usually a total clusterfuck. I only use O'Hare when I absolutely have to for business flights, and I've never had a good experience. I've yet to regret going through Midway, and I've yet to enjoy going through O'Hare.

O'Hare isn't my favorite but I do like the 1-2 seat configured AA flights I can usually snag. Much less hassle on the boarding\flight experience part but Midway does usually seem much calmer

I've always been kind of partial to tortas. I'll be honest and say I don't think some of the other stuff on their menu is really that great but I've never had a miss with the tortas. I don't usually drink there, instead I scurry with my kill into the Admiral's Club and enjoy a nice brand "x" vodka in relative peace.

I know everyone says they hate ORD but compared to some of the places I get to frequent it's a veritable paradise. EWR, LGA, DCA, LAX, PHL, etc all make my shit list high above ORD. I in fact refuse to even go to PHL anymore for any reason.

of course. Way better than ORD as far as airport experiences go. And if you are flying Southwest in that direction, you will likely stop at MDW.

Also, it has a Potbelly at the main terminal. I will fucking take a one or two stop trip just to have access to Potbelly.
Agreed on all counts. It's not a great airport, but it's so much nicer than O'Hare, which at this point is too big for its own good.

I went through MDW Sunday evening and it was a piece of cake. Had I gone through O'Hare I'm sure it would have been a mess.
