It's national whiners' day

A holiday just for moi

I drove across town, a 68 mile round trip, to try on boots the store's website claimed were in stock in my size. They weren't.

And this is different from every other day how exactly?? 😉

Didn't say it was any different than normal.

Don't you whine like that on days that end with day?

Yes, yes I do.

Did you just shitpost in my thread.

Carry on.

Yes I did...and thanks, I will.

Tucson's built up area is ~400 square miles. Middlesex County is 323 square miles. Pima County, AZ is bigger than New Jersey.
And, apparently, has a large airplane boneyard. This is very surprising to me as I didn't think airplanes had bones.

Anyway, so what's this - back and forth across Highway 10?

Somebody didn't know about Davis-Monthan?

I passed by there sometime back in the late 60s.

To get from my house to the 'other side of town' is approximately 35 miles. I am not in a major urban area..

I believe the little spit of land my town is built upon is all of about 13-3/4 sq. miles.

From wikipedia:

Total13.78 sq mi (35.68 km2)
• Land8.52 sq mi (22.06 km2)
• Water5.26 sq mi (13.62 km2)

So, about 8.5 square miles of housing, roads, businesses, etc...the rest is water. (lakes, canals, etc...surrounded on 3 sides by the ocean/bay.

We got copper mines bigger than that. 😛
