So I went to McDonalds cause I got a coupon that gave me a free med fries/drink with a purchase of their new Angus Third Pounder burgers. I ordered the deluxe at the drive thru, and when I got back, I discovered their were actually TWO burgers in my bag.

LUCKY ME!!

Congrats, their fries are ok when cooked hard, one of the few places that is generous with the salt.

Their burgers taste any different or is the Angus meat pure marketing? I have not tried one in almost a decade, they were not bad IIRC.

Hey, now you can play TWO games of street hockey!

But you only got correct change and didn't get the cute female drive through drone's phone number, right?

Pfffftttttt. 😉

Otoh, congrats, OP. Sometimes it's the little mercies from an otherwise uncaring world that make us happy, no matter how transient that glee.

Yea the meat is different, bread is different, it's a whole new burger.

URGH ... I just ate one of the burgers/fries/drink .... do not feel so well right now ... can't even think about eating the second one.

I'll just save it for later.
