and don't forget being able to sign binding contracts, your parents can now legally kick you out, and generally being considered an "adult" yet you can't buy alcohol. hmmm, turning 18 sucks! you get a bunch of new responsibilities and liabilities and no new benefits except voting (which if you're like a majority of people your age you won't do anyway).
