so i'm watching "You light up my life" a movie from the late 70's.

the main actress plays an actress who is a voice double in a movie. she is the actress that sings in place of the main star.


irony of ironies, she isn't the one that actually sings the music, she has a voice double.

movie kind of stinks too.

They did the same thing in "Singin' in the Rain". Debbie Reynolds was supposd to be doing singing voice-overs for the actress lady, but it was really the actress lady doing voice-overs for Debbie Reynolds doing voice-overs for her.

but that was actually a pretty good film unlike "you light up my life".
