That seems a bit silly considering the BGA Ram never gets much above room temperature. I have the Ti4400 overclocked to 300 core and 675 RAM and the ram never gets very warm much less hot enough to need that RAMsink. Sexy yes; needed; no...

<< Does it work though? >>

Most likely, not. My friend got an Evga brand GF2 Pro, and the card didn't work. He RMA'd it, and they sent him an Ultra as a replacement. Too bad it didn't work either.

He sent the ultra back for refund, then just stuck with his TNT2.

Don't buy Evga. :)

That's interesting...

The card uses BGA microRAM but it is a lot larger than some of the previous generation GeForce 2/3 cards that I've seen ;)

Yeah, and what's with all these funky heatsink/fan setups I'm seeing on these new generation of GeForce cards now. They cover all the etched info on the chips and most of the PCB. You might be getting a Cyrix or Trident video processor, but you're too busy admiring the funky HSF setup :D.

That does look cool, but check out the pics of the new Leadtek ti4600. One sweet looking card. ;)
