It's incredible what a wire cleanup can do...

We decided to cleanup the wires under our desks since we could not figure out why we needed so many power bars and extension cords for 2 computers. Well, this is what ended up being redundant:

Basically all daisy chained and stuff, lot of loose stuff that was plugged in to a power bar with nothing on the other end lol. With all that, there is 2 UPSes (in use) but the PC was not even plugged into it LOL.

Thought this was amusing.

I thought this was going to be about a patch panel cable clean up job.

I really want to do something about my cable hell, but it's hard to motivate myself when I know I'm not going to be in this place for longer than a few more months.

I cleaned up my cables by consolidating the power adapters. I had about 6 of them. So I wired them up to a single large adapter than can power them all.

Actually it is, but all that was under the desk, hooked up, yet removing it did nto stop anything from working. 😛 That's how bad it was lol. In one area we had 2 power bars for 2 things. I don't even know how it got that bad.
