It's hot up in my apartment.

God damn I'm finishing up a paper, it's hot as f*ck in my apartment and the next door kids are splashing in their pool!

🙁

I miss the snow and the -20 wind chills.

Replace the carpet with artificial turf and run a garden sprinkler in the living room and it might be a good idea to cover the walls with plastic.

But the good thing is you probably won't get arrested if you play naked run through the sprinkler with the ladies, not like when you do it outside on the lawn.

Ah, that's the nice thing about living in the south - nobody kids themselves about the heat, and they just buy an AC immediately. Up in the north people weather the two hot months without ac in most cases. I feel for you, because I've done it too!

Same here. With the cold you can always self regulate your temperature by putting more clothes on. On the other hand with the heat there's only so many clothes you can take off... CA hit 101 today!!

build a giant refrigerator or just clean out your current one and put yourself and your PC in it then live in it til winter comes back. LOL.

I would totally buy an A/C....you can get a low capacity window unit for a few hundred bucks. Trust me....it beats sweating it all summer. 😉

bleh. same here. it's been hot as hell since we moved in last week.

we have an A/C, but haven't installed it yet. made a good go of it yesterday morning, but couldn't get it to stay in the window comfortably.

I have a friend who's willing to install it for me (what with neither me nor my roommate ever having done it before), but he can't come down until Saturday 🙁

Heh, you are in N. Wildwood and bitching? 😛

That's where the Philly folks go to get away from the heat. (and all the Skoorboids from Canada go there too)

😛

The next thing you know, your AC has crushed someone's dog.

We just bought a Daewoo 5, 350 BTU small a/c with remote control and 12 hour timer for $99 from CostCo B&M.

Works EXCELLENT!
