Lets see here...over 45 days of 100+ degree weather so far. No rain for 65+ days straight. Set record highs all last week (105+, where average temperature for this time of year is 93 :p ) Water and electricity usage up to record highs. Safe to say you non-Texans have it lucky :p

Just as bad in Oklahoma, they blamed all the traffic jams Friday afternoon on the cars being stuck to the pavement unable to move. 108 today ughhhhh.

Yeah, I measured 111 degrees three times last week here in Houston. It wasn't as bad as it sounds since the humidity was only about %20 so I wasn't even sweating. We usually have %80 or higher humidity when the temps are in the 90's but I'll take over 100 degrees with %20 humidity anyday.

ROFL. The Eagles handed them their asses yesterday. :p

It feels like you're being stung by an angry swarm of bees when you step outside in Texas.. Temperature at 10:30p.m. last night: 96 degrees!

Oh well back into the climate controlled tomb :D.

In Southern California we went from an extended heatwave (no rain since April) to rain late August and now cool Fall weather.

Don't worry it won't be long now. Soon you'll be complaining about floods and how cold it is.

Unfortunately you won't be able to do anything about that football team.

:p

Q: Do you know why birds fly south every winter?

A: It's way too far to walk.

I need to move. I can't stand this year round heat and I'd like to actually see the seasons change. I hope this doesn't last through September.

It's kinda funny. I live on the coast in Beaumont... just 80 miles from Houston. We have had plenty of rain and the temps didn't get bad til this past week. But today it's freaking hot, blech. I need a pool.:D

Princess;)
