Welcome to the ATOT "OMG I DRIVE A VAN" club.

1) Stop calling it a car
2) Modify or die.
3) Those taillights are a disgrace. Since it's a Toyota product, I suppose they're allowed, though.

You're already doing an excellent job ignoring the aerodynamics of a brick comments.

I like them. I would consider it if I was in the market for a new car, which is a maybe. It would go PERFECT with my MINI :D

I swear if you pricks don't stop bashing minivans I'm going to have to show you exactly what a MOPAR product with the aerodynamics of a brick can do. I don't need an SRT prefix on my Dodge to go fast - it does it all by itself (with a little urging from the ghetto-mod department).

I think it looks awesome. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is the way the front bumper sticks out like that. I think it would look much better if it was at least a little more flush.

Cool car.

But.. what's up with the grass in your neighborhood? :Q It looks like you're in mid summer there... lol

I was looking around at cars for my wife (I thought she needed a newer one) and test drove one of those. I thought it was pretty fun to drive. Kinda gutless, but what do you expect from a 1.5 liter? Nice mileage though. Amazing amount of room inside them. Tried to get the wife interested but she said it was too boxy.

So she ended up getting a Toyota corolla sport model. Metallic red with all the options. It is actually a good car to drive.

Have fun with your Scion. I still like them regardless of what she thinks.......hehe.

can you take some pics of the xB parked right next to other normal cars like a Corolla, Civic, Camry, etc..?

I'd like to see the size difference. Take some pics from different angles if you can.

Thanks.

My girlfriend says they're too boxy too, although she said she would rather drive the Element than the xB.

My response is.. "They're mini-vans(not minivans), they're supposed to be boxy, they're functional." :p

Congrats on the new ride and being so bold to go with something so different. Different strokes for different folks, it's your money, spend it as you wish.

Nah - that's actualyl my step fathers. I've always owned small cars, and the xB is no exception.

What sort of aftermarket plans do you have for your Scion??? You know you're not allowed to buy an xB without making lots of mods to it...right?

Buy it's soooo much quicker with the five speed!! :p They all come stock with the pioneer sound system, so yea, I did.

The first two projects I have planned are an ugrade on the wheels, with either of these rims: 17" Vega rims or 17" Pak rims . I can't make up my mind yet, but the finds for the rims will come from the sale of my 200sx. Then I'll tackle adding an 8" or 10" subwoofer underneath the passenger seat.

After that, maybe some suspension work.

THE ELEMENT HAS A K SERIES ENGINE IN IT. YOU CAN PROBABLY STRAIGHT UP SWAP A TSX/RSX HEAD AND STRAP ON A JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGER.

I EXPECT THERE TO BE ATLEAST ONE PERSON/COMPANY OUT THERE BUILDING UP A VERY FAST ELEMENT. :D

It looks kind of cool, but I doubt the highway mileage is that good with the aerodynamics of a house!

35mpg baby~!!!!!! :p

and then you woke up :) report on the actual mileage if you take note.

Calculated tonight - 27mph in pure city driving. (210 miles on the odometer). I expect that to go up 1 or 2 mpg once it starts to warm up here (about a month).
