Are they going to actually fight each other or just do targets? Seems kinda unsafe with someone inside if the bot if the are fighting each other. And they look vulnerable with hydraulic hoses hanging out all over the place.

I'm not sure, I remember someone posting the challenge a couple of years ago, then it seemed like it wouldn't happen.
