It takes effect from 14 or thereabouts (ie: 14 can date 14 only, nothing lower, but 13 yo are 13, so it's obvious you wouldn't be dating them).

I am 22 and would see now shame in dating someone who was 18....just go with it...and forget the maths. :beer:

I think that "equation" only applies to the oldest of the two, and as someone else mentioned it starts at 14.
