It's great to have a job

That does sound sucky, though I (being single and looking to travel) wouldn't have minded too much. How long you been married?
 
I havent lived w/ my wife in 2.5 years. We see each other every 6 months or so. About 3000 miles away.

I kinda like it 🙂

We've been married since March. I go home on Friday after work (2hr drive between Auburn and Birmingham) and then on Monday mornings I leave at 5am to get to work on time.

Edit: We're moving at the end of October when she's released from her job at the university.

I remember your wife. she is a little hottie. I would not want to be away from something like that for any length of time for fear of someone trying to move in on her.
