Hi people.
I am back after a long break.
I had a terrible car accedent about 5( almost 6) months ago. A drunk punk riding bike got in front of me and to save him I turned my car and had a headon collision with a truck. Left me with a borken rib, 6 fractures in total and 12 stitches but worst a spine enjury than kept me in coma for 20 days and partial paralised and speech loss. After 2 months from this and while I was making recovery I had a stroke again and had to be hospitalised for another month. Luckily thanks to god and prayers of closed ones I surviced and has recovered almost fully. My speech is normal now, my spine enjury is almost healed 100% and all I am left with is 1 tiny mark on leg and no other external deformaties.
I also lost my old e-mail account as it expired while I was in recovery. Mods were kind and helpful to change my e-mail to new email manually as I didnt remembered my password ( some memory loss :p ). And I am glad to be back.
That drunk idiot is in jail and frankly thats where he belong. He took 5 months away from me and I didnt used my shiny new 9800NP even for a week when all this happened :p
I remember having a deal with Vonkhan from here about sale of 9800 pro but seriously I dont remember his name so I had to search my old PMs. Sorry for that dude too, as no answers from me about deal must have pissed you off. I remember e-mailing you if I am correct few months ago telling this. But I was barely out of hospital and again had to be hospitalised after some time after I mailed you.
Anyway, past is past. I am back 100% again.
Thanks to Mods again.

I'll believe you tomorrow. But welcome back.

Drunks deserve 10 years in prison.

Sorry to here that Chaotic42...
Even doctors who treated me are surprised by this recovery. No permanent brain or physical damage. Thats the best thing. it woulld have sucked if I had some permanent injury.

Thanks.

You were certainly fortunate. I'm a big proponent of stiff laws against drunk drivers.

You survived in an 800? woah!! thats NOTHING short of a miracle..

I used to LOVE driving and was into semi professional racing a few years back. Had a huge accident. (not my fault! i swear) It was a side on from a taxi (ambasador) at 70 kmph+ onto the drivers door of my car... I was driving...

The car was destroyed... and well i survived. Shook me up pretty bad. Cant drive fast anymore, been over 2 yrs. It was a Cielo (built like a tank) ... only reason i cud survive...

You should have looked at the car, my brother showed me the picture of it and I personally couldnt believe I lived through that junk. Now I bought nice Opel Sail but I am adviced not to drive for another month :)

It is scary... trust me...

Where is live... is a metropolitan city... with cars reaching 60 - 70 mph easy .... and the lane system remains undiscovered...

lane changing involves just a simple flick of the wrist... no signalling ... no slowing down or waiting for a space...

One of my coworkers told me that you fold up the side-view mirrors so that they don't get hit by other cars passing too closely. Since no one uses them!

So basically the same as here, except the order is reversed.

Thats true! I just use one... the drivers side...!

Also ... 95% of the cars dont have ABS, Traction control or Airbags even as options ....

Seatbelts were (thankfully) made the law just as recent as last year!
