Two of those six bottles have my name on them.
This is one of the highest demand liquors in the Midwest. Most stores were presold out of every bottle they were going to get. Some places have several month long waiting lists to get one bottle of the 10 they are shipped every few months.
My buddy was able to locate 6 bottles the other day.
WIN!
Here's a little blurb about the crazy demand it has from a Des Moines station..

"But then on Monday, "I was the first one in line at 8 am," says Arthur Rice, owner of I-35 Spirits in Ankeny, "and so I loaded the whole truck up and came here and opened the doors at ten and by noon, every bottle was gone."
You heard from Gary Jensen last month, he was hoping for 25 cases at the Carroll Hy-Vee, but state demand was so great, he could get only 10.
Templeton Rye president, Scott Bush has heard a lot of stories like that.
"One of the stores today had a cash register strictly set up for Templeton Rye because there were that many people in there buying it."
"Earlier this week, a driver from the Alcoholic Beverages Division actually called the police because people were following his truck, trying to find where he was delivering the Templeton Rye to. Those are just some of the lengths that people have gone to get their hands on this spectral spirit."
