Arggggggggg! My mom keeps setting the AC to 85 because she's always fvcking cold. So I'll go and set it to 75 and sure enough next time I go to look (because I'm damn hot) it's at 85 again. She even gets up in the middle of the night and turns it off. wtf? I usually wake up soaked in sweat.

When I move out I'm keeping my AC set to 70! :|
 
It is ~32 degrees F outside right now, and I have my windows open. Just FYI 😀

eh, it's the AC not the heat. setting it to 85 just makes sure the AC almost never comes on. It probably hit over 85 in here though after the hurricanes when the power went out. You need AC to survive in south florida.

thermostat is at 68 over here.

in my old apartment, though, where we didn't have to pay for heat, we kept it at 75 in the living room / kitchen, 85 in the bathroom, and 65 in the bedrooms.
