It took 6 phonecalls from a friend for me to decide to finally lift my covers and walk around my room to get my phone.

Honestly, my stupid apartment and its heating problems suck. 50 is one of those temperatures where you can get by wearing a hoodie but your fingers are gonna start getting cold. That is the problem I have right now.

I'm sure anyone whose heater was broken would be whining like me. I'm almost certain I can take the cold as good as most people out there in the rest of the nation, so stop saying I'm a whiny Californian who's used to only sunshine because I'm NOT from SoCal.

It was 50 this morning on my way to work, just warm enough that I dropped the top one last time in this bizarro heat wave.

It's 46 here in Ohio. This has been a warm winter. You guys are crying about the temperature. Get over it. There isn't a thing you can say that will warrant sympathy from anyone even a mile further north than you.

I'm not crying about the temps here, I have heat in my house and warm clothing...I actually like the cooler weather.

I was simply pointing out that what hamboogerboy posted was a stupid thing to say.

While it is the 60s here in NC, I still feel for anyone who hates the cold weather.

Frozen pizza helps. Use your oven to heat up the pizza then leave the door open after finished. That way, you have some hot food and the oven shares the heat. The winter time I purposely bake a lot just so I can stay in a warm part of the house.

But nobody has posted a thread saying "It's 40 some degrees in Cali and IT'S GREAT!"... so we can only assume that all of you guys feel the same because there have been at least 3 threads today about how cold is apparently is.

It's supposed to get up to the mid 40s here today. It's beautiful outside, even the sun came out.
That being said, the weekend was even better, it got over 50.

That is insane for December. Usually this time of year the highs are around 20-30, and around 0-10 or so for the low.

I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt all weekend, though today I have to wear regular length pants because I'm at work, and I have a light jacket, just in case it cools down more, or in case the wind picks up.
