It's funny how when you're waiting for a package, every car that passes by sounds like a UPS truck...

Don't you guys just hate this? It tends to get annoying. I sit at my comp, and i hear this loud rumbling sound. "Yay, here comes my [insert new computer part here]!!" By the time you run out to catch a glimpse of the truck, you notice that there is *no* truck, just a van, or grocery truck of some sort. Doesn't this get annoying guys?

Ahhh, you are lucky to have the luxury of getting to wait for your stuff to be delivered. I, am at work while my stuff gets delivered at home. And since my family is never home, my DVD drive has been riding on a FedEX truck for 3 days waiting to get to me.

It did get delivered today. Here's hoping it isn't DOA, I won't be a happy camper.

In an unrelated note, only one hour left at work! Wooooohoooooo!

I am waiting for something too. My new Palm Pilot, but usually the UPS guy has come already. I guess I can stop doing dishes at the kitchen sink looking out for him.

hahah...the UPS guy basically knows me. There was this 3 week period where almost every single day I had a package delivered. He would just leave the package at the door and leave after a while since it was reoccuring every day.

I usually keep looking out the window hoping they will be there also. UPS usually don't deliver to my house until 5:30-6:30, I must be there last stop.

Yep, I definitely know the feeling. Although I do have a slight advantage: my dog knows the sound of the UPS truck's motor. Whenever that truck gets within 10 blocks of my house, he starts barking! :D

I also have been known to track my packages every couple of hours to see if they've moved yet.

You get used to it. Once you start ordering lots of stuff off the net you just don't really care anymore.

yeah, i guess patience does come with experience. something is strange about ups though. my friend lives about half a mile from me, and yet his packages ALWAYS come around 10 am. my packages always tend to come at 3pm. how strange is this?
