Well I'm done! I fininshed and nothing blew up or caught on fire, so I guess I did it right. Right now I've got my 2180 OC'ed to 2.6Ghz on stock voltage, and I guess for now that's alright.

Anyway, I did have one question...I got everything running, and last night I was playing some games, no big deal, and I was using the headphone jack in the front. Well I got up this morning and tried to use the headphones...and no noise. The rear jack for sound off the motherboard works fine, but there's just no audio in the front jack. Any idea why it would work last night and not today?

I've got the following:
Vista 64 bit
Abit IP35Pro mobo
EVGA 8800GT

No extra soundcards or anything, but I just can't figure out why it'd just stop working.

The front jacks use everything the same as the back ports as far as the sound card/onboard sound is concerned. You likely have a loose connection on the front audio ports, or the connecter on the board

check to make sure the headphone is fully plugged into the jack.
check to see if the device manager see's any issues
check the system event log for any errors dealing with audio

How do I view the event log for errors? Sorry, but I'm new to the whole Vista thing and monitoring my computer as a whole.
The headphones are plugged in, it's just strange...I was wondering if it's a Vista thing or not...
