and another side comment: man, Valve is pretty brave to attempt a Half-Life 2, considering that the original is arguably the best PC game ever...I'm not sure *I'd* be brave enough to attempt a sequel of that.

They will probably name HL2 Game of the Year at E3 just like they did for TFC2 in 1999.

As l,ong as the story doesn't take place entirely in Xen. 😛

I think it's a bigger risk for id to attempt Doom3 than Valve to do a HL2. The Doom franchise has a lot more to live up to than HL. I'm glad Valve is finally making another game. We'll see if they're a one hit wonder or not.

I hope they can pull this off.. HL was amazing, fantastic.. I just hope HL2 doesn't end up being like the many crappy expansions for HL 😛

Updated HL with sweet graphics might give me an excuse to try and play it again.
