I humorously quote Jimbo as it appears all are ok so far...

Spectators "flee" as huge waves of the Qiantangjiang River approach in east China's Zhejiang Province Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002. Huge tides occured as Typhoon Sinlaku swept the southern part of the East China Sea at 5:00 a.m. since last Saturday, with the maximum wind force of 40 meters per second. You would think at least some of those people would be dead after getting hit by that...

The people who look like they're smiling haven't looked behind themselves yet. :)

wtf, that's friggin scary if that actually happened, its gotta be hard as hell to survive that. But it does look photoshopped. Some are smiling, and the blurs at the bottom of the pic to give the people motion seem kinda put in by someone.

They're gonna feel that one in the morning! :D

Okay .. I didn't read the article ... but, isn't it a bit insensative to be making fun of those people in the picture?
How would you feel if someone posted a pic of WTC victims falling out of the towers with the words "hahahaha" .. or "they're gonna feel that in the morning"?
I know the context is different, but it's the same idea really.

they would have heard that wave coming and turned around long before...methinks it's fake.
