It's build time!

Time for me to build another home pc. I have built multiple computers in the past but if you don't keep up with it or do it everyday you get left behind.

That being said. I AM going to do a lot of research the next few weeks and decide exactly what I should go with. but.. any suggestions on hardware to get me started would be much appreciated.

I am building a PC for
World of Warcraft gaming.
Counter Strike Source.
Maybe future games.
I also want to be able to use this pc as a media center and use it for editing and some storage of my home movies.

My budget is around 1000-1500

A few things I know that I want is multiple hd's. In the past I've kept my OS and Data hd's seperate. Just in case something get's hosed I can reformat and not worry about losing any data. I do regular backups but also using this setup gives me peace of mind.

Again, I plan on researching everything I just need some ideas.

i.e.

Currently how is processors stacking up? Intel or AMD?
Is Geforce probably the best bang for my buck?
3.0 sata? Is it better? Should I get it?
