Chock me up to being another innocent seller getting strong armed into refunding a buyer because Paypal almost auto approves buyer claims.

My goodness. I thought people who ran into trouble were looking for it but I guess I've just been lucky all these years. Someone filed a $600 claim on Paypal because they didn't like the performance they got out of an SSD. The buyer can't be bothered to do any tweaking (which is asking for trouble given the current state of SSD) and he said the other was busted (ok, maybe this one is ok).

The sad part is he complains about the effect on his customer base...the base he is selling "NEW!" PCs to with USED parts like the one I sold him...
scum.

ok, I've let out some steam.

Anyone actually win one of these things?

paypal took back my $250 because the buyer claimed he never got the item. I gave them tracking but it said left on front door, so they gave him the money back. I only had like $120 in there as a balance and so now I have negative $130 balance which will never be paid. So fuck em.

you've ruined everything

There's got to be some paypal claims trick that I don't know, because people can easily scam me and file claims against my account (which I lose) and when I buy stuff and people stiff me, paypal would rule in favor of the other people.

Haven't used it for awhile but still got money tied up (which I probably won't see).
