it's been over a year & still no new sblive driver, when O when will a new driver come?

my sblive driver is still dated 8-26-99, i've been waiting for it to change to something with x-x-00. hmmm, it was a while back that i thought i read somewhere that creativelabs was going to release liveware 4 this year, i didn't say i "remember" reading it because it's was so long ago, they've been working so hard on making little to no improvements on the sblive line of cards, adding a cheap 5.1 here & jack up the prices to a soundcard that's been out for years. you would think they would have a completely new soundcard by now, it's like they want to follow intel's footsteps from pentiumII to III, adding one little feature & charge us to death for it, anyone here working at creativelabs know anything about the liveware 4 development? also since i brought my tnt2 ultra, the drivers have been getting worst down the line from the 3.68, & all creative did was slap their name on the reference driver without tweaking & called it theirs, then they got lazy some more & decided to release fasttrax & say there's no support for betas, & finally now, they stopped everything & just left it at fasttrax 6.18, & didn't even bother to make them final, i have 3 creativelabs products, own a total of 5 of their products in my lifetime, i knew creativelabs videocards stinked before but i thought they would change over the year, but no, their soundcards use to be good, but now, they're outdated, their speakers, the FPS2000 is the 1st ones i've tried & their ok, not worth over a $100. my next system will hopefully have no creativelabs products, "creative"labs just don't sound right anymore.

Even if it had been a year if they work they work. Maybe they don't work for you but let's not assume a new one is required. As far as the viddy card, only the chip company (or its contractors) write drivers. Board makers do generally only slap their name on them. Sometimes they will add extra "features" but those usually are worthless an only delay you getting a branded driver. That's my three cents (inflation dontchaknow).

i already installed that sblive update when it first came out, that just added minor updates to the mixer, & improved 2 effects in eax, which i didn't notice any difference to, i read that they were going to release liveware 4.0 this year with eax 3.0 support, & now there's been no mention of anything related to that, anyone else got any info on liveware 4.0?

Please show us another post where I told someone to speak english. As for your examples, there is a big difference between using slang, and not being able to spell.
